Red

I felt very red today. I did the first one with Pastel, Charcoal, Ink, and a little bit of Acrylics (the eye and some hair). The second one is Charcoal and Ink, with Pastel for the balloon. Just something I was thinking about today. :)

Black and White

My very extremely untuned Merlin Piano was calling me today. I can't play much, but I know all the notes and a few chords. I can play the Battle Song of the Republic, that little thingy from the song Everybody Was Kungfu Fighting (haha), four measures of a Minuet that was a flute duet, and a song that my gradma taught me when I was little.

Maggie is the cutest, she said she would only let me take pictures of her if I got off of her bed and out of her room. She cleaned it today without any hope, I was sooooooo impressed, but she didn't want anyone touching anything!

Me... Mrs. Blind

I was having a dilemma today. I think that my right eye got infected (probably because I sleep in my contacts, haha :)), anyway, I felt like a faucet. Or as if I was bursting out in tears at random points in the day, actually, my eye is watering right now! I had to get the contacts out, and than of course, I didn't know where my glasses were. I mean, I sleep in my contacts! Why would I need to have my glasses!? So me, Mrs. Blind, ran around upstairs trying to find them so I could see past the six inches that were clear in front of my face. I soon discovered that if I took my video camera and held it two inches in front of my eyes I could see what I was looking at! And I had a zoom feature! That didn't work that well though, because it gave me a huge headache to see something clear and see it blurry behind the clear view. It was confusing. I didn't find my glasses.... I ran into things.... But I didn't find them. My mom found me and old pair and everything was distorted and they weren't even close to fitting my face, I felt overly nerdy with them on. They were metal frames too, and I like plastic now.

Tara was with her dad but she came home, and guess what, she found them in a couple of seconds! It was amazing!!! Here's some awesome pictures I took of her today! Isn't she wonderful, the best sister ever! I can see!

Fireflies

Hands

I think that half the fun of working with messy media is seeing my hands when I'm done. They happen to be covered in ink from a picture of fireflies I did. I had to clean almost everything I touched! Haha.

Black and White

I love pictures in black and white, so I took these today. Maggie was having fun spinning her umbrella, and of course my little sister loves it when I tell her I'm taking pictures. She is super cute.

Eyes

Tara was my unkowing model for these two pictures. Isn't she wonderful? :)

Mask (Something Simple)

It's a little lopsided, haha.

A Breath of Fire

My Living Room

A quick charcoal sketch.

Lying in the Rain

Paper Airplane

I find myself a perfectionist, and I did redo that word about five hundred times, to make sure I spelled it right. Haha. I did this quick today just to see if I could do a sloppy sketch with a charcoal and pastel and be happy with it. And I am... Because it's way better than I expected it to be for the little amount of time that I put into it.

Tea Party of The Upper Class

Wish the picture I took of it was better, but it'll do.

The Lonely Old Telephone Pole

There is this lonely old telephone post that you come upon waaaaaaay far back in the middle of an empty field beside the forest behind my house. Everytime I see it I feel like taking a picture of it, and for some reason I love these pictures! I've decided to share my boring photographs with you!

A Nurse?

My Grandma Shaw says that this looks like a nurse... I didn't quite have that as an idea in my head when I did it, and I really can't see eeeeexactly how it does. But I can't get the idea out of my head. So it must be a nurse. I guess. Right?

Hair Caught in the Wind

HOLY CRAP! Look who it is! Maya! I can't believe I've gotten around to posting something, anyway, in the superduper long time I took to post, I discovered the media of my dreams...... Are you ready for this.... dun dun dun..... CHALK PASTEL! They are wonderful!
They are SO entirely fun to work with, and I love how messy they are! Not too messy, exactly, but they rub off and smear on everything, haha.
